About this database
This database contains deaths believed to have resulted from the Cuban Revolution (1952-present). For details, please go to The Project and Terms of Use. This is a work-in-progress; new cases and information are added continuously.
Cuba Archive stands by its best efforts to collect, interpret, and report findings with the highest standards of objectivity. Nonetheless, it cannot guarantee that any or all details of any case record are accurate or conclusive. Unintentional data entry and classification errors are also possible and corrected when uncovered.

In appreciation. We are deeply thankful to all persons and institutions that make this work possible. Armando Lago, Ph.D. (1939-2008) gathered most of the case information to originally populate this database. His dedicated and rigorous work laid the foundation for this project and continues to inspire it. Many other valuable documentation efforts are amply credited throughout the database. Testimony, photos, and documents provided directly for this effort are greatly appreciated. Financial support from our funders, pro bono software work by Manuel Pérez, and large amounts of work donated by other individuals make this online system possible.
